Secca is a new and versatile typeface family designed by Andreas Seidel. It’s workhorse qualities make it perfect for a wide rage of applications – especially where legibility and economy are important factors.
Secca is honoring the roots of early German grotesque type designs but is mastered for the needs of today.
The weights from Light on to Bold working perfectly for body text. The Hairline and the Ultra Black weights give extra typographic freedom for headlines and signage.
For setting tables and charts Secca offers fixed width tabular figures, fractions, monetary signs and mathematic operators throughout the entire range of weights. This feature is called weight duplexing and a time saving tool for the designer.
